This is based on a Yugioh card/monster that I like very much.
It was also my first serious picture in Corel Painter 9, so I got alot of practice with it doing this pic. |3

That's lightning/electricity, but the shape ended up going in a different direction and I decided to keep it that way (see; too lazy to fix it) XB
The background is handpainted, but I used a trick to get the lighting difference you see.
